04 May 2006 6:42 AM Alert

                                       WEST PARIS MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
                                                   MONDAY MAY 29, 2006

STAGING:   Ames Parking Lot, Rte 26, Oxford, Maine   9:30 am

Rolling at:   10:00 am sharp.  Traveling to the American Legion in West Paris.  From staging, follow Rte 26 through Norway, take a left on 219.  Follow 219 until you see a general store on right.  Either street, right before or after this store, take right.  Building sits right behind the store.

Parade: Lining up at 10:30 and rolling at 11:00 am   See you all @ Ames!

During last weekend's "Welcome Home Mission" for Spc. Richard Smith, West Paris requested PGR's participation in their Memorial Day Parade.

State Captain and I decided since we already have another Memorial Day Parade in Brunswick, that we would try to gather about a dozen PGR scoots to cover West Paris's Parade.  Besides, they are a small town and we wouldn't want to over whelm them with 50+ scoots!

I am looking for up to 12 scoots to commit for this parade.  Please post your confirmation of attendence in this thread.  I will be calling upon the West Paris representatives this week for additional details re. staging time & place etc.

Me, me, me......pick me! Oops, wrong game. Count me in Asha. Maybe I'll bring a few friends. Ames parkinglot! Hey, I know where that is. Swaybar, shall we cruise thru Lewiston again? That was a nice ride.
Now I'm also planning on doing the scouting ride for our Meet & Greet this weekend. You all are invited to join me if you feel like going for a ride. Not sure which day yet. Probably saturday. Watching the weather.

No Cruizer-you have to have your back to the wind before you...What?...Really?...Oh sorry, didn't know the Camera was running...hehehe my bad Cruizer sounds like a plan for Monday, let me know what time you want to depart Augusta, and Pushboats and I will leave Rockland 1.25 hrs. before. I need to go up to The County on Friday and back on Saturday, looking at the weather looks like I may take my scoot. 500 miles round trip Gone again on Monday, so I think I'll sit(or maybe stand)out, the scouting trip. Kinda be domesticated for the day on Sunday.

Well Swaybar and Pushboats, we're suppose to be at the Ames parking lot at 9:30am. How long did it take us to get there the last time? If we leave Augusta at 8:30am does that give us plenty of time? Want to leave my place somewhere around 8 - 8:15ish?
Asha, yes, I'm sure. I'm confident that Mike can handle the Brunswick parade. Doesn't need me in his way. I prefer small-town America in any event. After the parade do you want to join Swaybar, Pushboats and I for a ride somewhere? Gonna be a beautiful day!
