[uΤnd Annual Fallen But Not Forgotten Tribute, December 8th, 2007
Clarksville, TN
This email is to respectfully request the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders of the TN area on 08 December 07 from approximately 1800-2100. My name is Nick Ashley and I work for James Pierce. We are putting together a tribute to the Fallen but not Forgotten and would greatly appreciate ya'll coming out for the event. We will be having this at the home of our distributor, James Pierce on the 8th at 1800 Hrs. There will be a total of 47,000 lights, in honor of the 47,000 soldiers deployed from Fort Campbell, KY. We will also have the picture, name, rank and date of loss of every single service member who has lost his life serving in this conflict. There will be four trees in front of his home where we will place the picture, name, rank, unit, and date of loss on an ornament for each soldier lost from Fort Campbell. So far the mayor has agreed to attend and we are hoping to see the Post Commanding General and SGM there as well. The location is going to be the corner of peacher's Mill Road and Broadmore St. The exact address is 300 Broadmore St, Clarksville, TN.
Thank you for all that you have done for our soldiers and their families! Everyone is welcome!!
We will stage at the Lowes on Wilma Ruldouph Blvd. According to Shotglass, these are the directions: From Nashville, it is 24 w to exit 4, turn left, go down about 2.39 miles, turn right at Fazolis and go straight into Lowes parking lot. From the KY go 24 e to exit 4, turn right, go down about 2.39 miles and follow the above from Fazolis. As I rode through there tonight, I counted it to be the 7th traffic light, but don't hold me to that. It will be on the right, and it's pretty difficult to miss. The Lowes and Kroger share an entrance, so as you can imagine, it's easy to find. Staging will be at 4:45 with KSU at 5:40 ish. We are going to be talking to the folks at the Tribute site to coordinate our arrival. The riding in of the PGR will kick off the ceremony. We will depart the Lowes parking lot, for a (hopefully) very short stop at Kenwood elementary school. And then ride into the Tribute site. All the other details will be discussed at the briefing in the Lowes Parking lot.
Ride Captains: Victor Enriqueq, aka Shotglass, shotglass96@bellsouth.net, and Randy Hall, aka Sportypig, rchall@comcast.net For any that are running late, the address for Kenwood elementary is; 1101 Peachers Mill Rd. Hope to see a big turnout. The PGR is planned to be a pretty big part of this well scripted Tribute.
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom. |
