To all who volunteered to attend the Wreathes Across America Project at Grafton, WV. We are requested to take part in ceremonies at BOTH cemeteries in that town. We need to tell her how many we can depend on, so she can decide on where to use us.

Please email me ASAP and let me know if you can come. Anyone else who can take part, please email me.

The services will be held on December 15, 2007, and will follow the schedule below. I will set a schedule for us as soon as I can tell her what we are able to help with. At that time, I will designate a place for us to meet and give you last minute instructions.

It all depends on you how we honor those who have gone on to a better place. Our new motto is " Standing for those who stood for us" . How many of you are willing to stand for the few minutes it takes to lay a few wreathes? Please email me at bosnmate820@ussrich.org.
Thanks in advance

11 Dec 2007 8:36 AM Alert
As of this morning, (Tuesday), I am still waiting for contact from the lady in charge of this project. She is to cantact me after she attends final meetings tonight. I apologize for the last minute posting of plans but we are at the mercy of those who plan the ceremonies. We may be covering both cemeteries. The minute I get some additional word, I will post it here.

Due to the weather forcast, It would be best to cage this event and leave the bikes home. We could be in for rain or snow this Saturday. We don't want anyone getting hurt.

We will stage at the Administration Building at the National Cemetery off US Rt. 50 at 1100 in order to brief everyone on the final plans. Don't forget to bring your flags along. At this point, there are six or eight who have said they will be there. Anyone who has not done so, please email me direct, so I might keep count.

Thanks and See you in Grafton

12 Dec 2007 6:13 PM Alert
We now have our final itinerary for the services at Grafton & Pruntytown. We will meet at the cemetery on Rt 50 at 1100. Depending on our turnout, we may split up and cover both cemeteries. This will be decided at the last moment but they are just minutes apart.

Keep an eye on the weather and dress warmly. Please cage this one and leave the bikes in the garage.  Everyone drive safe.  BRING YOUR FLAGS!! We anticipate just having a flag line but  if asked, we will  assist in wreath laying  in case  the CAP  turnout  is short.

see you all on Saturday.  I will be in my white Dodge Ram  at the  Admin building  as  was the case last year.
