You can count on Central Alabama. My wife and I will both ride down. That's 2 more bikes. I know Ruel and Co will stand up, Rex should be good for it and I think some from Ga.

Hey Hambone,

I'm in Covington, TN and will try to go that way too. I can't go till Saturday, so if it's a morning interment, I will have to pass. Anyway, maybe we can roll down there together.

OK, I have not been able to get hold of my Ride Captains down here on the coast but I will have a Ride Captain lined up for this mission by Saturday. The staging area for this mission will be the Ocean Springs Exit 50 (hwy 609). For those coming in from the east this is the second exit for Ocean Springs. For those coming from the west, this is the first exit after the I-10/I-110 interchange. Immediately south of the interstate is a park n ride lot. The contingent will pull out at 1pm sharp and head directly south on 609. After crossing hwy 90 and the railroad tracks the funeral home should be on the right. I will be in touch with the funeral home tomorrow and firm up the details.

Don,

Keep in touch with me at rh6866@gmail.com.  Work may prove to keep me from this mission, but I'm fightin' the man!

I've already had to miss 2 missions due to being on call so I'm trying to work it so that someone else will be around to take it for me.

Will let you know.

Rick

Greg Marks (luckycraftpro@aol.com) will be primary Ride Captain for this mission. Raymond Huckeby (Rhuckeby@ur.com) will back him up. If you have any questions contact Greg or myself (ebaker1954@aol.com) and we'll do our best to help answer them. I will be talking with the funeral home director tomorrow after 11am for the final details and after that I will post them on here.

 Cajun,

Let me know when and where to hook up Saturday morning

To anyone coming from north Miss  or elsewhere,  We've got a spare bedroom if you want to break the trip up.  Ya know...I haven't met a Patriot Guard Rider yet I wouldn't invite into my home.  Holler at me Sdewett@jam.rr.com.

It's not just a privilege and an honor to serve these heroes... It's an obligation

Cajun

For sure depending on you, Snap and my buds from Lower Alabama to help pull this one off. We haven't gotten our flags in yet so it will be the usual. I'm going to dry run the ride possibly this evening if not tomorrow.

Ed hasn't passed anything along from todays' meeting so we all know about the same thing right now. Stay tuned. Will be checking in shortly.

OK just got off the phone with the funeral director for this mission. They will be leaving from the funeral home to go to the cemetary at 3pm. PGR will leave the staging area (I-10 exit 50 Ocean Springs Park n ride) at 1pm and go to the funeral home to render honors. The funeral home is located on Porter ave, Ocean Springs. This is the second stop sign (4-way stop) after crossing over Hwy 90. Turn right go about two hundred yards and they are on the right. We are to park in the circular drive and will follow behind the hearse to the cemetary.
Once again I'm sorry that I won't be there with you all, but Greg without a doubt will pull off a memoriable mission for this fallen warrior and his family.

I am Sgt Mills' Battalion Commander at Camp Pendleton. Thank-you all for what you doing. This has an incrediable impact on the family knowing that there are Americans out there who recognize and honor their sacrifice. It is awesome to see that you are supporting all three of our Marines who died together on 28 April (SSgt Davis, Sgt Mills, and Cpl Hardy). I'll be stopping the SSgt Davis mission briefing in advance to thank those folks in advance. Sgt Mills leaves behind a wonderful young wife and a beloved Harley. Keesha plans to keep Lea's bike and wants to "get it finished" and learn how to ride. We're working up a plan to make that happen for her. Ride safe

Thank you for your kind words but it is our duty to render honors to this fallen warrior. It will also be our honor to form a missing biker formation in recognition of Lea's love for riding cycles. May his last ride be a memoriable one.
