Condolences only for Capt Tiffner
.  I found out his internment date for those who would like to know.  It is still condolences only, but people are asking.  Especially those in Kentuky.

Christine:  I called Arlington media inquiries, I got transferred to voice mail, and they called me back in less than 5 minutes and gave me the information right away.  Interment for Captain Tiffner at Arlington is November 20.  Thanks again!

I spoke with Mr. Tiffner just a few minutes ago on the phone. He thanks us for what we do and wishes to have a private ceremony with his family. Capt. Benjamin D. Tiffner will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with other fine and brave Soldiers.

This is a STAND DOWN for the PGR. Thank you Capt. Tiffner, you have done your job well and we will see you again soon.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Capt. Benjamin D. Tiffner. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know your loved one was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Benjamin.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

   On this and have made numerous attempts to discern more information.  Conversation with Casualty Office @ Fort Campbell indicates Capt. Tiffner's NOK are residents of Soldotna, Alaska.  No CAO has been assigned either from there or from Fort Knox.

   Fort Bragg press release confirming this available at: http://news.soc.mil/releases/News%20Archive/2007/November/071108-03.html

   Have a call in to Christine in AK to inform her of this.  Will keep in close contact until it is ascertained where services will be held.
Respects,
Joe
