My thoughts and prayers to the Herrema family. This young hero was a fine young man. I did know Richard. About 3 months ago. I had the Chance to meet our fallen hero. I just want to let you all. He was finr young man and soldier.
I am glad i got a chance to meet him. GOD BLESS RICHARD. Anyone from the PGR in MI. please send my condolences to the family. They will not know who i am. Just spoke with the family and the funeral home in Hudsonville, MI. This will be a confirmed mission. The funeral home will let me know sometime on Monday the details for the funeral.

I have obligations Wednesday thru Friday. If the funeral is after Friday I will be there. My condolences to Sgt 1st Class Herrema's family. We appreciate the sacrifice Richard and you made to our nation and we are humbled by him. He must have been an incredible soldier to achieve his rank so young. PGR will be there to honor you and him.
