Jeff, let us know what we can do here in Jackson.
Anyone that needs a place to gather, we use the Old Country Store at Casey Jones Village right off I-40 when we're going to another ride. It's a good place for a pit stop.

I have emailed the Michigan State Captains because there is a chance this might still be Richards home state.
I have found some information that leads me to believe this. I will keep everyone updated as I find more information.

Media stating arrangements haven't been finalized yet, (as of the 27th), but this hero will be laid to rest in Hudsonville, Michigan. Hudsonville is just southwest of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
God Bless this fine young man.

Preliminary information so far is that the funeral for Sgt. Herrema will be in Hudsonville, MI. Grumpy was able to get me a number for a family contact. Requested that I not call until after 4:00 P.M. today. Not sure about the TN connection.  I talked to the funeral home this morning and they did confirm that the funeral will be in Hudsonville MI. but no definite times.  They told me to call back on Monday or Tuesday to get more details for the final arrangemements.
