I am the police chief in Fairhaven where you all came to honor L/Cpl Gallagher a few weeks ago. I was so impressed by your effort that I signed up for the PGR and will be at the rallying point to ride in honor of Pvt. Bouthot on Friday |

Any plans for a meeting point for the 101 corridor in NH? I'm hoping to get off to honor Pvt. Bouthot. I, again, will be honored to escort in my cage. GonZo

chief,
I attended the Fairhaven mission. along with yourself, you have a fine group of officers in your dept. Their assistance was a key factor in making that mission a success.
glad to have you as a member and proud to ride alongside you at any time. |

FYI-Mission Update: I spoke with the Funeral Home Director along with the Deputy Chief of Police.
The staging area will be at Venus De Milo Restaurant-Banquet hall parking lot at 75 GRA (Grand Army Highway) (Route 6) in Swansea. I have spoken to one of the managers there and he said we are welcome to stage there and that there will be restrooms available for PGR to use. Staging will be from 9:00 am until 10:15 am.
We will depart the staging area (Venus De Milo's ) at 10:15 am sharp! (Police assisted traffic control for exit of parking lot if available) and travel to the Grace Gospel Church, at 271 Sharps Lot Rd, Swansea, MA (approximately 10-15 minutes travel time). I will be speaking to the Director at the funeral home this afternoon as far as the details at the church and the procession.
From there we will be joining the motorcade to the Oak Grove Cemetery, on Prospect St, Fall River, MA.
Ride Captains: please plan out your meeting points and directions to the staging area. Please post your meeting points and times of departure to the staging area.
I will keep you informed of any updates.
Thank You. |

Also, maybe you and ssmokinone above could hook up for the ride to Fall River if it is convenient...
Will see you Friday...

North central Connecticut here planning on meeting up W/ the group at the Cracker Barrel at Exit 7 off of I-95 Coventry, RI. My probable route would be I-91S, I-84 E, Rt. 2 E. Rt. 11, I-95.
Anyone along this route who would like to ride along is more than welcome.
ALSO....if there is a group leaving from the central Connecticut area who would not mind another rider, please let me know.
Springfield, MA area is also a possible group for me.
This is my first so I am not sure how the groupings work so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Russ You might want to contact 01deuce as he is coming from Milford. He posted previously that he was coming with others from his area. I don't believe 01deuce has posted which meeting point he will be aiming for.
Also, I'm quite sure there are others coming in from the Springfield area...
I'll be at the Exxon Station in Raynham located on Rte. 138 and I-495 if you guys come down I-495. I will then hook up with RichCop and the riders coming from the North somewhere on Rte. 24 South of Brockton. |

Russ,
If you don't mind it being displayed from the back flap of a cage; I have a portable flagpole that I have a smaller flag flying from. I'd be honored to fly it from the pole for the procession and at the cemetary.

That sounds fantastic.
I just heard about the PGR last week or so on my fishing forum board and I'm not entirely familiar with the exact logistics of the missions so.....
I will be joining the RI PGR in Coventry so wherever you plan to meet us, look for a black VW jetta, RI plate "SOUNDQ". Will this be enough for you to find me or should we exchange cells?
