I will be going to Jasper in the morning, am checking with motel/hotels that will work with us on this mission and that info will be posted as soon as possible. Yesterday, when my daughter told me of CPL Lueken death my heart was in my throat, after doing missions all over Indiana, and also in KY and IL this is one in my back yard, so needless to say I contacted Richard about this. Also gave him the info for the LEO, funeral homes, motels/hotels and anything else I could think of that whoever the RC was might need. This morning after talking with Richard, made contact with LEO's (city and county)since funeral home is in one town and CPL Lueken lived in another (possible church funeral at hometown church), the funeral home that would be used and the Mayor of Jasper. Jasper City Police Chief was very familier with PGR!!!!! I will be talking with the CAO tomorrow and hopefully be getting the arrangements, meeting with local LEO's, funeral home etc,. The RC"S are working as a team on this and will try to get the infoout as soon as we can. God Bless CPL Lueken and his family.

Like ddaddyo said, pray for the family, when we have a confirmed mission, I ask my SS class at church to pray also, IT IS a powerful thing.
And like headhog, I too am unemployed but will be finishing out the semester at school next week. I'm hoping to make it and will, if schedule permits.
God Bless and keep Erics family. |

The family has requested that we be involved in the escort - the escort will probably be from Lousiville which is a long haul back to IN - those that are interested please post here and email either Kyra or me (IndianaPGR@comcast.net is me ) and we'll gather your info to email you privately. However, bear in mind this not a definite that there will be a PGR escort - it depends on certain issues but it would be nice to know who would be available. It is Kyra's call about the escort as she will be talking to the CAO. God Bless you All again for your selfless dedication. |

I am a member of the local Marine Corps League Detachment. Some of our Marines will be making the ride from Louisville to Jasper. We have a meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening where we hope to know more details about the escort date and time. From what I am being told, a family member of Cpl. Lueken requested up front the assistance of the PGR. They are very pro-military despite the loss of their son. Let's give this family and Cpl. Lueken what they deserve! I want to thank each and everyone of you for the work you do. I have been a big supporter from the day I learned of the PGR. Semper Fi! |
