10 Aug 2007 7:24 AM Alert
The PGR has been invited to attend the dedication of a Vietnam era CH-46 named "Blood Sweat & Tears" at the Carolinas Aviation Museum and to a tribute event for MOH recipient PFC "Mike" Raymond Clausen.

The event is on Saturday, October 20th, 2007.

The tribute has been designated a Special Mission.

Staging will be at:
Steamers Sports Pub
1513 Pierson Dr.
Charlotte, NC
This is the site of the recent flag raising.

The Tribute begins at 1400 so plan to be there a little earlier.

Anyone desiring to attend the Dedication at 1100 at the Carolinas Aviation Museum is welcome and those of us who attend will form up and ride over to Steamers together.

I have just been made aware that there is a $10 fee to get into the museum to attend the dedication ceremony. If you attend you're doing so as an individual not as a PGR member.

I can email a PDF file of the flyer about the event to anyone who would like it.

Edited to add some line breaks and change the time of the tribute to 1400.

Connie,

Unfortunately the PGR email system doesn't allow attachments. If you'll email or PM with a non PGR email address I'll get the flyer out to you tonight.

Please send me a flyer - Nightturkey@juno.com. The South Carolina PGR folks would love to hear about this.

Tomorrow is the day! I'll be at the museum by 11 AM and will then go to Steamers. For those of you planning on attending the ceremony at the museum, there is a $10 charge. I'm sure that it will be well worth the cost. See you there.
