Joe,
I will try to make this mission after SFC Lamberson's mission in Springfield. I have family nearby to stay with but thanks for the offer. I've spent a lot on rooms lately. Our prayers are with Lance Cpl. Darin T. Settle's family. Cliff

Joe, I don't know if I'll be able to be there Saturday. I'll watch for confirmed times. If so, I'll head down 50 to Jefferson City. Anyone from KC heading that way, watch the threads and maybe we can meet.

Noble Eagles will be there. This is our back yard. If anyone needs anything please contact me. Henley is a very small town with no motels etc. The largest city for accomodations is Jefferson City or Eldon -

I, with several others had the honor of being present at the reception of the body of Marine Lance Corporal Darin Settle.

His body was escorted by three active duty Marines (SSGT - First Sergeant - Major) and several law enforcement agencies including the MSHP. The streets of Russellville were flag draped and crowded with people wanting to show their respect to this American hero.

The US Marine Corps League received the body and transported it inside
the funeral home. It was a moving experience.

Folks,

It's supposed to be nice and sunny this weekend in MO. So... take a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water in your day bags.

Everyone ride carefully.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Settle family and the community of Henley.
