The visitation will be Fri. Apr 21, 2006 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Spring Valley Baptist Church, Hwy H and B in Henley, Mo.

The funeral will be at the Cole County R-5 High School on Sat. Apr 22, 2006 at 12 noon. The school is located 1/4 mile on Hwy 17, just off Hwy 54 in Eugene.
Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetary in Eugene.

I will post a meeting point and times tomorrow evening, after I go to Eugene.

I am making this offer to any member that is attending either service on Fri, the one in St Louis or the one in Springfield
I have room at my house for 4-5 to spend the night. I have a room with a double bed, a couch that makes into a double bed,
and a fifth wheel camper that has a queen bed and a big leather couch..If any one is interested,email me and
I will send you directions to my house. The wife says she would like a couple of days notice..

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

The staging area for this mission will be the BP-Subway at the MO-Hwy 54 and MO-Hwy 17 in Eugene Mo. It is at the exit of Hwy 17 and marked Eugene Ft Leonard Wood. Park in the lot next to the BP.

Riders meeting will be at 0945 and we will depart for the school at 10:15 am..

If you are coming from KC, then take the Hwy 63 S exit off 70 and come to Jefferson City, get on 54 west, come to the exit marked as above. If you are coming from St Louis on 70 take the Hwy 54 S exit and follow to Jefferson City and continue until you get to the Hwy 17 exit..From Sedalia, follow 50 to 54 w and follow until you get to the exit. From the Springfield area, take 65N to 54E and continue on thru the Lake area and Eldon, Hwy 17 exit is approx 12 miles from Eldon going east.

If you get to the BP after 10:30 am turn east on 17 toward Eugene and come approx 1/2 mile, school is on the left..

The manager of the BP has donated Krispy Kreme donuts for all riders on Sat Morning and the Noble Eagles have offered to bring coffee...

The parking at the school may get tight, so be preparred to park on gravel if late..  Also parking at the cemetary will be on gravel or grass, if you need a kickstand plate bring it..

DoD Identifies Marine Casualty

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

            Lance Cpl. Darin T. Settle, 23, of Henley, Mo., died April 14 from a non-hostile motor vehicle accident in Al Anbar province, Iraq.  He was assigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

ATTENTION: UPDATE FROM LEO.  ACCORDING TO MO ATT GEN, SINCE THIS FUNERAL IS ON PUBLIC PROP(SCHOOL PROP) THE LAW DOES NOT APPLY. SO THEREFORE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO PROTEST. I AM ASKING ANY RIDER OR GROUP THAT WANTS TO, SET UP EARLY  ON THE ROAD IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL TO BLOCK THE PROTESTERS FROM HAVING SPACE. LEO SAID THAT IT WAS PERMISSIBLE, FIRST COME FIRST SERVED SO TO SPEAK. ALSO REMEMBER OUR MISSION IS TO HONOR THIS AMERICAN HERO AND HIS FAMILY. WE MUST BE RESPECTFUL AND LAW ABIDING.    Be sure to bring water and sun screen, going to be warm...
