Standing by in Indianapolis! My daughter and I will be able to make this mission! We look forward to standing with all of you Indiana PGRs again...and all of the other PGR members who are making it this time as well!
God Bless Lance Cpl. Justin Sims and his family during this time! He is a true hero! God Bless all the PGR riders who are able to make this trip in person and in spirit! We are proud to be able to show this hero the respect and honor he deserves! And to show his family how much we appreciate his and their sacrifice!
GOD BLESS! And thanks to our PGR family for allowing us to participate!

| Yes, I can call them today and see. I have arranged a vacation day for tomorrow and can work on it all day. I'm trying to find out the funeral home to help with the staging area. Does anybody know a rough guess of how many bikes there may be. It would make a difference. I'm new at this but knowing the arrangements would help. The Kroger and next door Value City store will hold alot of bikes. Just don't know exact location of the funeral yet. |

I'll will be setting up a staging point in the south Dayton area to meet and head down Saturday A.M. Once the mission details have been finalized as to the staging time, location, etc. I will post the Dayton stage point and departure time. What better thing can we be doing on a Saturday morning than to ride and honor this young fallen hero........ Who's in????? -Mark |

| I have called and talked with the manager of the Value City in that area and he said that he saw no problem with us staging there. However he was going to call corparate and verify that it was OK. I have to call him back around 2:00 this afternoon. Depending on where the funeral is it might be about 7 miles from the funeral home. But if it is where I think it is a strait shot to hit on one road. |

From past experiences, you should plan on 200+ bikes and about 50 autos for PGR. Considering the location , a Saturday, and weather outlook is fair, maybe more. Also inquire about use of facilities for all of us morning coffee drinkers! I should be able to attend this mission, will confirm by tomorrow morning.

| Another place to consider for a staging area would be the local High School, possibly the one that Lance CPL Sims may have attended. This has worked well for other missions and they have been receptive to assist in honoring their alumni heros. |

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine that would attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot reframe from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our heavenly father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid down so costly a sacrifice upon the alter of freedom. To All,
I have a confirmation from Scott High assistant princepal Shane Rogers, that we can use part of thier lot for our staging. I still have to call value City but the High school is not far from the funeral home.
I have tomorrow to check it all out and can update on sites. I also don't know about any facilities for either as of yet. I'm not a ride captain but just trying to do my part when I can for my fellow americans. |

Thanks to all who jumped in here to help. I spoke with Big Daddy just before he left for the Glascow Mission and most of the details have been worked out. The primary need we have now is for some volunteers to act as Ride Captains. I understand the parking will be an issue, and we may need to split the group so we will need at least 2 Ride Captains for this Mission. Please email him at ckydan22@aol.com if you can help.

| dtswood -- Yes you are correct there is no way that you can park in the funeral parking lot. Scott High is willing to let us use part of thier lot for the group. There is also a shuttle running to the funeral home from there. The funeral lot will only hold about 40 or 50 cars if that for family and friends. This is on a rural route and parking along the rode will be almost impossible. I'm off work now but I can be contacted at 859-409-0585 and please leave a message with name and number. Thanks |

Going to try and work it out to attend. I am wanting my wife to ride with us as well, so we will have to work out babysitting issues and her work schedule.
Sarge, VA, Preacher and Onion....if any of you are planning on attending, drop me an email and maybe we can work out some plans.
If anyone else from the Southern Indiana / Louisville area is attending let me know and we might be able to hook up.
God Bless LCpl Sims and his family, he is a true hero and we will most definitley honor this young Marine the best way we know how, with honor and respect.

| I will more than likely be able to make it. I can also go by the Taylor Mill PD and see what their recommendations are on Friday if no one else is available to do that. They could recommend a staging area (most likely prefer to do it). Any idea where the cemetery is as to the services? Big Daddy, let me know if someone has already done this or I can do it on Friday. Being an LEO in the Cincinnati area I have had some contacts with their PD. |

Standing by in Dayton for final instructions for Saturday. SWMBO (She who must be obeyed) has confirmed that I have permission to ride. Lance Corporal Simms, stand easy. Marine, GOD has you now and He loves Marines. We will do our best to honor you and provide comfort for your family in their times of sorrow.
I just got back from the SFC Gregory viewing in Cincinatti. It was a dignified and touching procession. The quiet respect of the PGR members there made me proud to be a PGR member. Good Job Russ! Tell the wife I said so!

| To all Indiana riders coming down I 74 I plan on a departure time of 9:30am from Batesville on I 74. I like to arrive early at the mission. Timing is of the essence on these missions from what I have seen on my first one. Better to arrive a little early rather than be pressed for time and have to hurry. Let's take our time and get there safely. |
