I received a call from the CAO this afternoon. He told me the family was aware of us and wanted to make sure we were coming. Needless to say, this will become a confirmed mission.

All events will be in Taylor Mill, KY. Visitation wil be Friday evening and funeral services will be Saturday morning. I only post this for your planning purposes. The KY State Captain was on mission today, but he and Big Daddy have the contacts and information I received and I know they are working hard to get the mission put together and posted.

May the Lord welcome LCpl Justin Sims into his loving arms and keep and comfort the Sims family in these dark hours of loss and sadness.

THIS IS NOW A CONFIRMED MISSION

The funeral services are scheduled for Saturday 22 April at noon.

The services will be held in TAYLOR MILL, KY. Taylor Mill is South of the Covington area just off 1-275 EAST.

Detailed itinerary to follow.

IMPORTANT

Because of a bunch of problems we will need a Ride Captain for this mission.

We also need someone in this area to do some on site recon work. We mainly need some good detailed directions and distances and to find a good staging area.

If you can help please contact Big Daddy at CKYDAN22@AOL.COM or 1-606-679-1079.

This should be the largest Mission we've done in Kentucky.

If I can help please let me know. I will ride down and scout for a staging area possibilities. The local police here were very instrumental in working with the PGR for CPL Antoine J. McKinzie, 25, of Indianapolis, Ind. on 11 Apr 06. So the local police can probably help us as well. This is only my second mission or I'd be more than happy to lead this mission. Whomever is the Ride Catain contact me by e mail and I'll help in anyway I can.

Hey big daddy, I read your post about Lance Cpl. Justin D. Sims

I'm not sure how much help I can be because of work. But I will be there on Saturday. I do know the area fairly well. As far as a staging area depending on the funeral home location, there is a Remke's market right off the I-275 exit. It would hold at least 50 to 100 bikes. Down the hill a couple of miles from the exit there is also a Kroger shopping center that will hold at least a few hundred bikes. Do you have a address and name for the funeral home?

I will try and help all I can, just don't know how much yet.

jra215691 - Is there anyway possible to contact these possible staging area's to get their approval. I just think it best we inform them of the mission and what our intents are as they may not know. I know this is just my second mission but just throwing my 2 cents out there.
