I will be there but will probably have to go straight to the funeral home.  Crossing fingures that banners come in early in the morning since they weren't on truck today.  I'm sure the family will understand if I don't have them at that time.  Anyway, will see you guys there....your friend neighborhood cager....Jan

Weapon in my hand, ready to roll
Here we go again- our nightly patrol.
Over here it’s the same thing, night after night
Only difference it seems is whether or not there’s a fight.
Sometimes it is easy-going, calm as can be
It’s times like that which worry me.
Gotta stay alert cause you never know
If there is something ahead that’s gonna blow.
One more time we’ll make our rounds
Always praying to make it back to our “home” grounds.
But if by enemy hands we are taken out tonight
Just know it won’t be easy, it will be one hell of a fight.
Whether we’re Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine
We are the toughest boys you have ever seen.

Lots of 1st time PGR members (With no problems) Lots of Motorcycles (102), Lots of Cages (7) Lots of Townspeople with flags, Lots of tearful memories. It was almost undoing having Jessica Ardron come thank us personally for coming to her husband's funeral. I don't have any tears left for tomorrow's funeral. Photos have all been posted at http://andrews3.gotfamiliesonline.com for anyone who wants to download them. This time they are from two different cameras so some are better than others. Home Safe, quick nap then on to tomorrows stage. Thanks Canton for the turnout.

I cannot begin to express just how I felt being a part of this humbling experience. This was my first time but won't be my last. Thanks to all who were concerned with me being a little wobbly (is that a word...lol) with my cane. My brother told me what a caring bunch of people the Patriot Guard are and now I know. Mrs.Ardron, thank you for allowing us to be a part of Sgt. Ardrons going home and thank you for coming out to personally thank the Patriot Guard. This is one experience that won't soon be forgotten. May God Bless you and yours. Pispacma (Kay)

Wintergreencourt home safe and dry, and more humble and blessed for the experience.  This was not my first time at a funeral for a serviceman who gave his life for our freedom, but was my first as part of this wonderful honorguard, the PGR.  It puts everthing in my life into a new perspective.

Many thanks to Canyon and all of our Ride Captains and Mentors for making this mission ride safe and successful for all of us, especially this new (old!) rider.  And God bless the wife and son of Sgt. Brian Ardron, who now rests easy in the Lord.

God Bless Sgt. Ardron and his family. I brought two "newbies" with me, both proud Viet Nam vets and good friends of mine, who were curious as to what the PGR is all about. They are now eager to serve again, and I think this day had an immense affect on their lives. As the cemetery service ended, a friend of Sgt. Ardron's family, a wonderful lady, turned to me, grabbed my arm and said: "My heart is really touched by your group's overwhelming presence, thank you for coming." All I could do was give her a choked up reply...."Thank you, its OUR honor to be here."

God bless Sgt Ardron and his family. Feel secure in the knowledge that God holds Brian in the palm of his hand. Mrs. Ardron, Thank you for allowing us to participate and show our respect for your husband. I am humbled by your courage at this most stressful time. It was an honor to be there for you and your family.

This was my second mission and it was quite an emotional experience. Beyond thanking Mrs. Ardron for coming out to thank us for being there for her family, I personally wish to thank the towns of Canton, Buffington, White City and Macedonia for their show of support. I came away from the staging area full of tears for Mrs. Ardron and then cried all over again at the hundreds, if not thousands, of people that lined the streets along the way. Even my stalwart husband could not contain his tears at this most humbling show of respect. It is etched in my mind forever that yes, this time the country is behind our troops and never again will a soldier come home to an ungrateful nation.

I pray all members made it home safe and sound.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for a kindness. ~Seneca
