To the family of Sgt. Ardron, please know that I hold your soldier in the highest regard as an American Hero. I hope that somehow our words and presence can provide comfort; We are proud of your soldier and you are in our prayers.

Woodstock Staging
Normally I wouldn't put together a stage for a service so close to Woodstock, however several of my friends want Sgt. Ardron's service to be their first and I feel that meeting beforehand will help to prepare them for the emotions they will feel throughout the day.

Where - QT two stoplights East of I575 exit 7 on HWY 92
Stage Time - 7:20am
Kickstands up - 7:40am

Patriot Guard Riders, the following message is from SGT Ardron's mother. It has been posted in the Letters of Appreciation.

5/27/07

I want to thank you and all the wonderful people who have written to show support for our family at this time. Only a mother can feel the pain I feel right now, and only a wife with a husband over there can feel Jessica's pain. Please give your children an extra hug tonight. Maybe one of those will find its way to my son. I can't hug him anymore.

Sincerely,
Deborah M. Ardron
Mother of a SOLDIER

Ma'am, I am certain that I speak for each and every one of the almost 100,000 Patriot Guard Riders across the nation and as far away as Belgium (and even deployed to SWA) when I say that you owe us no thanks of any kind. We owe more that we can ever express to your son, to you, to Jessica and all of Daniel's family, friends and fellow soldiers. We will never be able to repay the debt that we owe, but we can make small payments such as this. Please know that we will be there for you and with you on Saturday. We will ride away, but we will not forget you. We will be here for you, for Jessica, for Daniel's young son. We are never more than an e-mail or phone call away. Never hesitate to call on us if we can help.

With Deepest Respect,
R/T

I'm sorry for the loss of Sgt. Ardron.  I'm hoping that someone seeing my flag flying proud on Saturday will take even the most miniscule amount of comfort.  Their loss will not be forgotten.

On a related note, I believe that Google maps has this address location wrong.  I believe that Walmart is just on the east side of 575.  It might be worth a second look for those that aren't familiar with the area.

Edit: Mapquest also has it wrong.  Search on the Chik-fil-a like RedThreat said.

CULL, I believe you are correct about the error on Google maps. Good catch. If you are using Google, you can do a search for directions to the Chik-Fil-A adjacent to Wal*Mart at 130 Keith Dr, Canton, GA. I believe that will put you on the correct side of I-575.
Thank, CULL.

To those in and around the Paulding county area,
If you are going to attend this mission we should meet and ride to the first or second staging area together? Also perhaps plan the return trip to include visitation in Cedartown. I would think if we left the town square in Dallas @ about 0600-0615 we could make it to the Woodstock staging area in plenty of time:

Where - QT two stoplights East of I575 exit 7 on HWY 92
Stage Time - 7:20am
Kickstands up - 7:40am

Send me a message or phone me @(4)388-6915 if anyone is interested.
