Staging Info for Saturday's Honor Mission for SGT Brian Daniel Ardron:

 

Location: Wal*Mart Supercenter at Exit 20 on I-575

 

Address: 1550 Riverstone Parkway Canton Georgia

 

Time: 8:00 am

 

Mission Brief 8:30 am

 

Kickstands Up at 8:45 am

 

There is gas and food available at the staging location. Please be ready for the briefing at 0830 as we do need to roll on time. We have a bit of ground to cover from staging to the mission location.

For planning purposes, the services for Sgt. Brian "Daniel" Ardron will be held Saturday June 2nd at 10:00 at The Sosbee Funeral Home in Canton, GA. There will be no escort from the airport. The family wishes the Army to take care of that portion of Daniel's return. PGR has been invited to be at the services and then escort Sgt. Ardron to his final duty station. Stage times, locations and other information will follow later this week.

PGR has been officially invited to honor Sgt. Brian D. Ardron of Acworth, GA.  Funeral arrangements are being finalized and will be posted as soon as possible.

May 24, 2007

DoD Identifies Army Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died May 21 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when multiple improvised explosive devices detonated near their vehicle. They were assigned to the 425th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska.

Killed were:

Staff Sgt. Shannon V. Weaver, 28, Urich, Mo.

Sgt. Brian D. Ardron, 32, of Acworth, Ga.

Spc. Michael W. Davis, 22, of San Marcos, Texas.

This brave man answered the call of his country and his sacrifice will not be forgotten. Take heart in that there are many Americans, many who have never met him, honoring Sgt.
