WWII VET JOHN NESTER, CULLODEN, WV

   It is with heavy heart that I must report the passing of Pastor John E. Nester, Culloden, WV at 1100, 11 May 2007.  As many in West Virginia and surrounding states are aware, John is the Father-in-Law of Bob "T-Bone" Smith, WV RC from Hurricane, WV.

   Pastor John is a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, being a Seabee on Saipan during that era of our country's history.

   PGR participation is not requested by John's wife, Mary Mae Nester.

Respects,

Joe Cumblidge

WV State Captain

   Pastor John, your service to our country during one of our most difficult times, as well as your service to God Almighty, shall forever be remembered by those most dear to you.  I thank you, sir, for your service helping to preserve and protect the freedom and liberties we have come to expect in this country.  May God grant you everlasting peace in your rightful place among the angels in Heaven.

   May your family and friends take comfort in knowing you are in a far better place, free from all pain and suffering.  May they also know you will continue to watch over them each and every day.  Know that almost 93,000 Patriot Guard Riders will silently pay solem tribute to John.

   Bob, may you realize that each and every PGR member stands ready to assist you in any way we can.  Those of us that know you, personally, are well aware of the loving care you provided John during his time on earth.  We stand with you, we'll support you and we'll pray for your peace and comfort.

My Sincere Respects,
Joe

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, John.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.

I would like to send my condolences during this time in your life. This is a time to reflect on the time that you had with John. With him being a man of God, this should not be a said time. This is a time to rejoice. He is born again and we will all meet again in that house that he is helping Jesus prepare for us. May the Lord keep you and comfort you.
