If anyone needs help finiding good places to stay here In Indianapolis for the funeral on April 11th, e-mail me.  I work for Washington Township Fire Department here in Indy and can steer your where NOT to stay.  700 West 38th isn't one fo the best places to stay near.  But there are plenty of hotels out on the westside near 38th that are only about 10 minutes from both Pike High School and Crown Hill Cemetery. PGR rider here and happy to help.

Hey Cowgirl, I would like to volunteer our Squad for flag detail if there is one. As you may remember in the Martinsville mission, there was Mark,(Preacher), Jim (VA RIDER) and self with you then. We would like the oppourtunity to serve in this manner if it comes available. Thanks, looking forward to seeing you again on the 11th.

Just waiting on a meet time so I can figure out of I'm going to ride in from Columbus OH in the morning or stay overnight in IN. It'll be abut 4h I guess, taking it steady.

I will attend if I can rework my schedule.  This will be my first mission and I am looking forward for the opportunity to pay my respects to a fallen comrade.  I am a retired Army SFC and will be riding from Wilmington, OH.

Just a reminder - For planning purposes only - Corporal McKinzie's funeral will be 4/11/2006 - The RCs are still working on the staging and details. You can probably plan on a staging time in Indianapolis between 9-10AM. BTW, those people have announced their intentions on being present at this Great American's funeral. Let's show by shear numbers of PGR what the majority of Americans believe.

Putting together a group that will be leaving from Bailey's Harley Davidson, corner of I69 and SR14, Fort Wayne,  on the 11th.   Will post departure time when staging area is announced.   Anyone and everyone welcome to join us.  The Lord's blessings to Spc. McKinzie's family.

Will DEFINITELY be there to honor this hero!  My thoughts and prayers go out to this family....Can't wait to stand with you all again....sorry under these circumstances...but proud to be able to show my respect.

Will have my daughter with me as well I think.  She wants to "show her respect" also!  (She's 6!)

God Bless!

Chief...Unless something unforeseen happens I'll be there.  I put in for vacation time and if that doesn't work there is always sick leave.  Isn't America great?

Thanks Biker Bill. I will definitely hook up with you, my good friend and fellow PGR and ASA LFCF'er, the next time I travel through your neck of the woods in North Carolina. Thanks for your Blessings to everyone, especially those sent to this fine fallen hero and his family. You'll have some waves of the Old Glory done in your name.

Grissomfire: That's the spirit! Lookin' forward to seeing, riding, and serving with you. If you need someone to vouch for your illness should you have to use a sick day, I'm sure we could start a petition and secure several hundred signatures for your employers' review. lol.

Thanks again to everyone following and promising their attendance at this mission. Further details should be posted soon either by myself, indyharley, or cowgirl relating to any further mission information, preliminary staging details, motel accomodations if needed, etc.. As Richard stated earlier, and primarily for those of out of town that may be unfamiliar with the Indpls area, we should plan right now to be on the NW side of Indianapolis somewhere between 9am-10am on Tuesday April 11th. Thanks again to all of you. Keep those thoughts and prayers coming in to Antoine and his family. It's nice to see all those new faces signing on. Welcome! Of course, you "old" ones are always a sight for sore eyes. Thank you to everyone for continuing to get the word out. No doubt, we'll need the show of numbers on this mission. Later.
