Stand Down

Our participation has caused a division in the family. Our mission is to honor, not divide. This family has enough grieve to deal with without the PGR adding to it.

We will honor Sgt. James R. Tijerina by being there in sprite, please keep JR and his family in your prayers.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sgt. James Tijerina in their loss. There is no greater sacrifice that a person can make in life than to lose his life in the process of defending the weak, and protecting their hopes for a brighter future and life. Thank you James, for the shining gift of your life in ours.

May our God grant His peace and comfort to the Tijerina family, the fionce' of James, and all of his friends in this time of your suffering. Please never let thoughts of any possible PGR service for James divide any of you, only allow those of respectful comfort and silent strength in this time of your greatest pain and vunerability, for this is who we are.

From an ex-resident of Katy; I pray that all of my former neighbors will embrace this family & friends in their time of loss, keep them wrapped in the loving arms of our Lord and the community, and show them all the respect for one another that has been, and still is - well alive in the Katy community area.

It was my pleasure to have been a small part of it for so many years. Standing by always as may be needed, for my old hometown.
