| SSGT Darryl D Booker, 37, Midlothian, VA who gave all on 20 Jan was laid to rest by a large group of family and friends from the Richmond area. Mouners braved the cold wet weather to bring this American Hero to his final rest.
A very proud and sad group of National Guard soldiers offered personal condolences to SSgt Booker's family. The Patriot Guard Riders offer a special thanks to the family friend that facilitated the completion of this mission.
SSgt Booker's widow graciouly extended an invitation to the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the interment. Six members from Maryland and Virginia participated in the mission and were thanked individually by a member of the family and by members of the Virginia National Guard.
Please keep SSgt Booker's wife and children in your prayers and take time to remember the sacrifice this American Hero has made.
