On behalf of myself and my community of Cambridge, I would like to thank all that traveled and stood in the bitter cold and wind for Roger. John, (Roger's brother), said that Roger loved our American flag. Knowing this, I'm sure Roger was very pleased with our turnout. Thank you Roger for your ultimate sacrifice. God, please help the Haller family through this difficult time.

Thank you again.

I've tried to think of the appropriate words to express my sincerest thanks to all who stood for my friend Roger. Sub-35 degree weather with a stiff wind off the river did nothing to sway the dedication you all showed this week. Nothing can express the pride I feel in wearing the uniform of our military and the unwaivering support shown by the dedicated members of the PGR. In my conversations with the other members of the Maryland Guard, National Guard Bureau, and the State Command Staff that were in attendance, there was NOTHING but sincere admiration at the perseverance and reverence shown by the Guard Riders during a sad time for one of our Brothers in Arms. Nothing I could ever put to pen (or type) could ever convey the gratitude I have to the service that the Riders provide those of us that beleive so deeply in our country that we would lay down our lives in it's protection. Roger did just that and I know fully in my heart that he would have been beaming with pride in your standing with him and ultimately FOR him in this endeavor. I salute the Riders all and give a special thanks to those that stood on this occasion.

Mainhawk sums it up perfectly.

You Folks are amazing, I am positive Roger had a grin from ear to ear.

What you all showed on Tuesday and Wednesday was pure dedication and pride. Something Roger had all threw him.

No Greater Gift has one but to lay his life down for another; only way we can show our gratitude is by saying Thank You and those of you who stood in the cold Yelled it out not in words but from the Heart.

Thank you to 20 folks that came out on Tuesday afternoon, and for the 42 that braved a cold and windy 4 hours, not counting the ride that 16 of you made to get there, to honor CSM Roger Haller and his family - at home and in uniform.
I am so proud to be just a small part of such a dedicated group of patriots.
