I’ll ride for you today because I know that you’d ride for me.  I’ll ride to be there for your family because I know that you’d be there for mine.  I know that you’d want to be there for them now just as you were the moment you gave all, that they might see in your eyes the respect and admiration that the ultimate sacrifice demands, the same respect and admiration that your family will now see in mine.

So I’ll ride today not only for you but for your family because I now know from your sacrifice that you’ve been there for mine all along.  I intend for my young daughters to know this and to grow up understanding that the security and freedom of the life they enjoy was purchased for them by the collective sacrifices of so many selfless and brave Americans among whom was a noble solder from Davidsonville, Md.  Fair well Roger Haller, thank you and may God bless.

To the family of CSM Haller: the thoughts and prayers of so many are with you. CSM Haller is a true hero. I hope the pain and grief will subside in time, and that happy memories will replace your tears. I lost my son in March, 2006, in Iraq. The love, support and prayers of family, friends and strangers was and continues to be a God-send. Rely on those who are there to help you. Thank you for the service ans sacrifice of CSM. Depsite what is sometimes reported, he has the respect and gratitude of many in this grateful nation. You will be in my prayers. Sincerely, Matt's Mom francisja1@netzero.net

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom

A Soldier's Prayer
(author unknown)

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Cage or Bike we hope to see you there, the CSM was a biker and I'm sure he would have ridden for us!

For the Wednesday Services ONLY:   I will be establishing a rally point for those coming from west of the bay bridge
at the Park and Ride on Kent Island ( exit 37 off Rt 50/301 ) beginning at @ 08:50am. We will depart from there to Cambridge
at 09:10am. It is approximately 45 miles to our destination.     Please be gassed up and ready to go upon arrival.  There are zero

Looks like there might be an appreciable turn out of PGR members on their bikes.  If you're passing through Easton and you experience any minor mechanical problems with your scooter please feel free to give me a call, I've got tools and a garage. I'm in Easton about 3/4 of mile off of Rt. 50. (members see my profile Bio for directions and contact info).  If you're within 30 minutes of Easton and you break down give me a holler, I've also got a motorcycle trailer and I'd be happy to get you to one of our local motorcycle repair shops. They're both right on Rt. 50 just across from Eastons airport.  If you can't get a hold of me contact them directly I'm sure they can come get you.

Thanks for all of you who came out today and braved the cold to help honor CSM Haller. And thanks to Suzan and Mainehawk for taking up the slack when I could not make it up right away this afternoon.
For those coming tomorrow...prepare for the cold, but remember, this is not an endurance contest. There will be opportunity to take a break to warm-up and have a cup of coffee. There are also restrooms available. Any of you that have an extra flag, please bring it with you if you can.
Please be safe on your way down, and we'll see you tomorrow.

I had hoped to be able to attend today's services but it was not meant to be. CSM Haller's friends and family were in my Bible study's prayers this morning as were everyone attending these services. May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding be with you all.

It was an honor and a privilege to have stood with my PGR brothers and sisters today. We can only hope that there comes a day our services are no longer needed.

I also want to thank those who were able to make it today. I was really amazed at how many braved the cold and came on their bikes. It was greatly appreciated. I think there were about 34 of us but I didn't count the bikes. It was an honor to be there for CSM Haller's family and friends.

The Fly Over was breath taking, only the second one I've seen and what an awesome tribute.

It was an honor to be able to stand for Command Sarget Major Haller yesterday. Thanks to all who came out. We are a hardy bunch but standing in the cold and wind was nothing compared to the sacrifice made by our soldiers every day. They are the heros and to be allowed to honor them and their families is truely a great thing. I too hope that at some point our services will not be needed. Prayers to all of the families of our valiant men and women in harms way. Pockets & PJ
