I will be there come rain or shine. I'll have to cage it however due to a fractured pelvis. I can still hold a flag however.

Home and safe. Robert, Crash, Pappa Smurf - you couldn't have done a better job. Thank you for keeping us safe and giving something to the family that they truly appreciated. Standing by to ride with East Texas when ever you call.

A great turnout on a cold day.  61 bikes and a slew of cages, about 80 people in all.  What a fine tribute paid to Pfc Allen B. Jaynes and his family.

Channel 7, KLTV in Tyler, TX did a nice story about the funeral and our participation:

After the graveside service had concluded, Horsepen and I had the chance to thank this soldier's mother for allowing us to participate in today's mission, and we were able to see a smile on her face for the first time in quite a while.

Thanks for braving the elements and honoring a fallen hero and his family.

On behalf of everyone near and dear to the family, thank you all so much for the amazing turnout for the Jaynes mission.

I have 'caged' a mission or two, but this time was there on a personal note, and it was so different from this end.

Walking in the hometown church I grew up in, to honor someone we loved so dearly, the streets and sidewalks lined with flags, I held back alot.  In the car leaving the church, I peered out my window and just stared at the bikes with the awe I felt the first time I ever saw the PGR a couple of years ago.  Everytime we drove up or down a hill or around a curve and caught a glance of the line, I would cry again.  At the end of the burial, I stepped away from my group and cried, as I was in uniform and had felt like I had to hold such a professional distance emotionally.  An unknown PGR embraced me, and the R/C presented me, the CAO, and the escort with a Mission Accomplished pin and the Texas coin, two things I've often admired.

In the military, you often hear of acquaintances who have been KIA, and you are sad for a bit and move on.  When its one of your own, it takes on a whole new meaning.

The BG quoted something which says that us in uniform have taken on a torch with a new challenge.  As I go back to working at my own unit this morning, I undoubtedly will stand in morning formation a bit higher and walk in the door with a different sense of purpose, and new sense of mission accomplishment.

Thank you all, and I'll see you all again on the next mission.

Another Mission completed. Another Soldiers name pinned to my Hero Wall for a promise to never be forgotten. What a great town. To come out a support a Family that is going through a difficult time. This mission was more touching to me just in the fact that so many young people came to Honor a classmate, friend, Loved One and Soldier. I think that for so many young folks at this mission that the PGR truely did its job. To cement this young mans name in everyones mind.

A fine job done by Robert, Bus'n, Rick, Streaker, Mayor, and the rest of those boys with RED caps. Thank you Men and Ladies.

Like "ThatsSoMelanie" said, will see you all at the next one.

To the Jaynes family, I am so blessed to have known this man. My heart goes out for you. I'm so proud of him. I still remember him at the reunion, when we sent him off. I can't believe he's gone. Gone but never forgotten. If there is any thing I can do, all you have to do is ask. I wish I could've come. My heart was there though. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this family. I really mean that from the deepest of my heart. I love you, you guys will always be family to me.

I want to thank the Sheriff/s office for thier OUTSTANDING escort and the support  and HONOR they provided. they kept us  safe.

They also did something that was pretty much unheard of, they shut down the rual fm road and allowed the bikes to just stop and park untill the sevices were completed.

that in itself shows respect and honor.

It was my wifes first mission and she was moved and said that this is belssing from Jesus, i whole heartly agree.

Again thank to all who supported this mission and kept it So well organized and seamless.

Thanks to young men like PVt Jaynes, our country will over come the evil of this world..
Thankyou  for you service.

may God Bless our uniform services and the  PGR.

Yesterday my wife and I rode with the PG for the first time. It was an honor to be part of this group and we will ride again. My wife Tammy knew  Pft. Alen "Fuzzy" Jaynes as she had taught him in High School. She said "Fuzzy would have loved this...as he loved bikes." His stepfather has a Harley and thaat was something her and Fuzzy had talked about before...the love of the open road! Thank you for sending Fuzzy home i such a wonderful way and honoring him and his family. May God Bless you all!
