There will be a limited number of flags available. Please bring your mission flag(s)!!  If you are traveling to this mission in a SUV or other sizable 4-wheeled vehicle and can pick up flags at Ft. Dorchester Baptist Church tomorrow morning, please call me ASAP (phone number below).

Fellow Patriot Guard Riders: Tomorrow promises to be wet and cool, and we may be inconvenienced and uncomfortable. But when I think of MSgt. Moyd in VietNam or in the Gulf War, there's no other place I'd rather be. To have the opportunity to finally say THANK YOU to MSgt. for his service .... what a privilege ... and I know you feel the same.

MY SINCEREST CONDOLENCE TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF TIMOTHY R. MOYD, A FINE, BRAVE AMERICAN SOLDIER.

THOUGHT YOUR HEART IS FILLED WITH SADNESS. NEVER FORGET THAT HIS WAS FILLED WITH YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

THE BODY, HEART AND MIND MAY DIE.
 BUT: MEMORIES NEVER DIE.

A SOLDIERS LIFE IS LONELY, AND VERY FEW WILL CARE.
SOME WILL EVEN HURT HIM, WHILE OTHERS STAND AND STARE.

A SOLDIERS LIFE IS VERY ROUGH, HE WORKS ON THROUGH THE NIGHT,
AND WHEN OUR COUNTRY IS THREATENED, HE IS THE ONE WHO WILL FIGHT.

A SOLDIERS LIFE IS FILLED WITH PRIDE, AND SO HE’LL GO TO WAR.
HE MAY NOT EVEN KNOW THE PLACE, OR EVEN THE REASON FOR.

A SOLDIERS LIFE IS FILLED WITH HEROES, AND I HAVE MET A FEW,
HERE TODAY I HAVE MET ANOTHER, TIMOTHY WAS A SOLDIER TOO....

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Veteran Timothy R. Moyd. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Timothy.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.
