Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.

MY SINCEREST CONDOLENCE TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THIS FINE, BRAVE AMERICAN SOLDIER.
THOUGHT YOUR HEART IS FILLED WITH SADNESS. NEVER FORGET THAT HIS WAS FILLED WITH YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
THE BODY, HEART AND MIND MAY DIE.
BUT: MEMORIES NEVER DIE
HIS SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY SHOULD ALWAYS BE LOOKED BACK ON WITH PRIDE.
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER HE SERVED IN COMBAT OR SUPPORT. OR EVEN HOW LONG HIS SERVICE LASTED.
THE FACT THAT HE WORE THE UNIFORM OF OUR MILITARY IS ALL THAT COUNTS.
THANK YOU DAVID, FOR YOUR LOYAL AND HONORABLE SERVICE. |
