1SG Gossett,

Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your untimely death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. You are truly an American hero and the world in which we live is a safer place because of your commitment to freedom. We will now proudly stand for you with honor, dignity, and respect. We pray that you will now rest peacefully in the arms of God. May He provide peace, comfort, and understanding to each life you touched.

You should be very proud of your father’s service to this nation. Korea was the forgotten war to many Americans, but I can tell you first hand the South Korean people who survived the war to this day give their heartfelt thanks to every American service member they meet for giving them the freedoms they enjoy today.

For everyone planning on being at this mission, the weather looks as if it is going to be nasty so please use some common sense and if it looks to bad for riding on two wheels the bring your cages, its not how we get there that counts its that we are there that matters.I pray for everyone to have a safe trip and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning.
My prayers go out to the Gosset family.May you know that our world is better off today for the service that 1SG Gosset gave to his country.

A cold and icy wind it was,  but I hope that our presence brought some warmth to the hearts of the Gosset family in their time of sadness and loss.  It was an honor to be there.

I can tell you PGR made a difference, a very positive one, for the Gosset family. It was an honor to stand for 1SG Gossett, cold and windy it was, but the emotion evoked when Mrs. Gossett and family came out to thank us before leading the motorcade to the cemetery is hard to put into words. You could see and feel the genuine appreciation in their words to us. Again, I have to say what an honor it was to stand for 1SG Gosset.
