The Patriot Guard Riders will ride to Arlington Heights, IL to honor Robert A. Haun, United State Army WW II Veteran on Monday, 27 November 2006.

Rally Time will be at 0900 at the gravesite at Shalom Memorial Park. They are located at Rand Road and Rte. 53. There is a Frontage Road on the East side of 53 at the light turn North. The entrance is about one block up.

Larry would like for the Patriot Guard Riders to be the Pallbearers.

There will be visitation at the house after the services. Larry will lead the bikes to his home.

The address is 8256 N. Keating Ave., Skokie, Ill.  All are invited to come to the house.

Dad loved riding on my bike and he liked it when my friends came over on their bikes so he could look at them.

I Have assumed the position of RC for this Mission. Forecasted weather for this Mission is low 50's....30-40% chance of showers so dress appropriately. I would like those who are volunteering to be Pallbearers, to contact me, the morning of the service. I should arrive between 0850- 0910 hrs. I'm not sure if one of our support vehicles with flags will be on location, so please make every effort to bring a personal flag from home. Larry, has supported the PGR on numerous Missions, its now our turn to pay our respects to both him and his father. If for any reason you need to contact me between now and then, my home number is 847-698-7383 Cell 847-217-1862

Respects,

Today November 27, 2006, was my first mission for Robert A. Haun, WWII United States Army.

Not only was Robert a Solider for our government, but he was also the father of a co-Patriot Rider and a co-A.B.A.T.E.r with me. Even though I haven’t known Larry for a long time, he and his family seem very nice. I was very sadden by the news of his fathers passing, but it was good to hear that Larry and his family are getting thru this with their heads held high, and knowing that Robert is in a much better place. According to Larry his dad loved to ride on Larry’s motorcycle, his last ride was today, and nature and God made this last ride day nice and warm and clear for Roberts last ride. Enjoy the motorcycles up there while you can Robert, because once Larry gets there he will ride them all…
