Folks, watch for updates...there will be an adjustment to the ANC times. Spoke with George just now, he said it will be taken care of soon.

I am fortunate to be a part of this...to be able to join so many PGR brothers and sisters in honoring this young hero and his family.

Such a sad, sad time...we will stand with respect and reverence.

Ride safe, all. Will meet you in the morning.

bump for update

==============================

When a mans heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the same men who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence and a mission of justice. - Steve "Sting" Borden

My families and my prayers are with the family of Capt. Dennison. I am saddend that I could not make the ride today. Most of my key employees are off for PA hunting and I could not leave. I hope the ride went well and Capt. Dennison got the respect he so deserved.

I want to thank all of the riders from all over the states for their participation in todays Mission. I was honored to be invited by the family, and very honored to ride with such a diverse and humble group of Patriots.

This is my final salute to you Captain John Ryan Dennison. Stand easy, sir, we've got this watch! May God welcome you in to his loving arms. To your family, we will always be here to support them in the coping of their sorrow.

As always, it was pleasure to pay respects and due honor to an American hero, particularly in the company of such a wonderful group. Pictures from today are here: http://caitybug.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album06

Please shoot me an e-mail if you'd like a copy of any of these. Thanks!

True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others, at whatever cost.

I was also unable to attend this mission and did nothing but think of you all continuously during the day.

I Remember You

When I walk into my church,
free and without fear,
I remember you.

When I see children playing in the school yard,
girls and boys of all kinds,
I remember you.

When I see families working together,
regardless of religion or nationality,
I remember you.

When I go to sleep
without worry for my family's safety,
I remember you.

When I see our flag waving in front of my home,
and when I can salute that flag without fear of reprisal,
I remember you.

When I remember you,
I think of the sacrifices you made so I could have these things.
I think of your commitment and your service
beyond mere duty.
I think of all that you have given
so that I and those whom I love can be free.

When I pray at night and give thanks
for the blessings God has given,
I remember you.

To all of the Patriot Guard Riders-
Thank you for your service to our country by supporting the family of CPT John R. Dennison. I am the Chaplain that assisted in the funeral in Frederick and then assisted at Arlington for the interment. Thank you for your support and it was overwhelming. I wished that I had had time to thank each one of you individually, but needed to take care of the family.

I had actually just returned from Afghanistan for a short amount of time to support the spouse and family during this time. I have to say that I was very impressed by the great support.

You are great Patriots and made a tough situation a little more bearable.

Thank you for all that you do.
