| I just spoke with 1st SGT Wittie. He was able to confirm that 137 members of Task Force Cobra will be coming Home to Rio Rancho on Saturday, 18 November. They have been in Kuwait and Quatar, for 15 months, performing Convoy Security duties. He still is not sure of their departure time from Ft. Bliss. I wish I could be more specific with this update but...it's an Army thing, or any other Branch for that matter. I have been assured that as soon as the departure time is known, I will be notified. I will make sure that this info is passed on to ya'll immediately. The Staging Time and Place will be determined once we know when they will be leaving Ft. Bliss. Please be aware that although I am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, this is in NO WAY meant to be an event strictly for the PGR! It is an event for the TROOPS! Any and all riders are Welcome to participate! Even if your ride has 4 wheels and doors! This having been said, Please feel free to send this information on to any others that may be interested. Moe to follow....soon I hope, Norton |
