Mr. Hamilton,
Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. You are truly an American hero and the world in which we live is a safer place because of your commitment to freedom. We will now proudly stand for you with honor, dignity, and respect. We pray that you will now rest peacefully in the arms of God. May He provide peace, comfort, and understanding to each life you touched.

Todays mission went very well. Today was also a busy day in our area with the services at the National Cemetary occuring at approximately the same time. We had a total of six bikes today with, I believe, 8 riders. This was a combination of the PGR and the ALR. After a lunch reception, the riders led the way to Santo, TX and the cemetary. There was a short graveside service for Chief Hamilton. The family came up and thanked us all for being there for them and shook everyones hand. Safety was the key note since we didn't have an LEO escort and we had no problems. Ran with the flashers on and people along the way respected that. It was an honor today to stand for this veteran and his family. It was also good to know that in some small way we could add to the comfort of this heros family.
Sleep tight Chief. Your watch is relieved, we have the watch. |
