| I noticed this article in the Marine Times this week and wanted to share it with the PGR group.

PENDLETON MARINE DIES IN SAN DIEGO
A Camp Pendleton, Calif. based Marine died Nov 10 at Naval Medical Center San Diego, according to a Nove 15 press release.
Sgt William C. Wold, 23, of Clark, WA, an armorer assigned to 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, was found unconscious in his barracks room the morning of Nov 10. Attempts at resuscitation were unsccessful, the release said.
The incident is under investigation, though "Foul play is not suspected".
Wold joined the Marine Corps in Feb 2001. His personal awards include the Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionaary Medal, Blobal War on Terrorism Service Medal and Sea Servcie Deployment Ribbon. |
