Yepper has a really good calendar that these events could be updated too. If he's watching, send the link again to the calendar. There are 2 events already on it.

For anyone in the Flagler County area that is not attending the Memorial Wall missionl, State Road 100 (Moody Blvd) will be dedicated as a Blue Star Memorial Highway on November 9th at 10:00 hours.  The ceremony and unveiling of the plaque will be at Bull Dog Drive and State Road 100 (Moody Blvd).

I see the mission in Jacksonville for Spc Calloway is also Saturday, 11-11. As it stands, I'm going to try to make the mission.

I regret that Mae Lyne and I will be unable to make the mission for SPC Calloway. We along with other members of my family will be decorating my son's grave for Veterans Day. Our thoughts will be with you all and SPC Calloway's family.

Godspeed and ride safe.

FL is very busy this Veterans Day. We have a couple of HOTH missions and a honor mission. If you're able to attend any of these missions I know your presence will be felt and appreciated. For those that wonder what is more important you're not the only one. I sometimes second guess my decisions to attend events. In my humble opinion honor missions are the most important because they are what we were founded for. It pains me to miss the Calloway mission as I have made a commitment to escort the wall to Lakeland and being the PGR Rep for the Daytona VA Home I feel obligated to attend their ceremony. If time permits I plan to meet the Calloway mission folks at the cemetery. Wherever you find yourself on Veterans Day please stop and take a moment to reflect on what it takes to ensure our rights and freedoms remain free. Thank those that came before us, are here seving now and will serve in the future. Please be safe out there and enjoy the holiday that so many have paid for.

Have to agree with you Tim. I know you are committed as the PGR Rep, and have to be in Lakeland. HOTH missions are definately something we should be involved in, but those of you undecided or not the point of contact in a HOTH mission, I hope you can make Jacksonville...it is why we were founded and what we do.

YES we are still doing all the Veterans Day events listed in the Confirmed mission. We are committed to the Parade, and Sims Veterans Home visit. If anyone is planning on supporting the Jacksonville Mission I fully understand and support their decision to Support the PGR's #1 Priority Honor Mission. I f you can not make the Honor Mission. Come on to Panama City and Support this HOTH mission.

For details on this mission go to: http://patriotguard.org/Forums/tabid/61/forumid/51/postid/245803/view/topic/Default.aspx

After much thought and turmoil I have to bow out of the Lakeland event. As the PGR Rep to the VA Home in Daytona I feel that I should put them a bit higher on my priority list. Plus, there's just no way I'm gonna get from Lakeland to Daytona in the amount of time I had. My heart was bigger than my brain.
