Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your untimely death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. You are truly an American hero and the world in which we live is a safer place because of your commitment to freedom. We will now proudly stand for you with honor, dignity, and respect. We pray that you will now rest peacefully in the arms of God. May He provide peace, comfort, and understanding to each life you touched.

This is a message from the PGR Suffolk County Ride Captain.


Because this mission is entirely within Suffolk County, Suffolk riders will go directly to the staging area:

We will LEAVE promptly at 9:15 from the parking lot of SKF Cycles at 1915 Lakeland Ave,  Ronkonkoma.

Be there, ready to ride, at 8:45.

Directions:

Long Island Expressway to exit 59 (Ocean Ave).
Right on Ocean for 0.8 miles coming from the west.   If you're coming from the east, turn LEFT on Ocean.
Continue straight (bear SLIGHTLY left) on Lakeland Ave for 0.5 miles and turn into SKF Cycles on the left.

REGION 6: This coming Monday, November 6th, 2006 we will be meeting at the Staging area at 6:30am with KSU (Kick Stands Up) at 6:45am promptly to meet up with Brian and Region 7.

Region 6 Staging Area, for most missions:
Our staging area for Region 6 is at the SW corner of Exit 5 (State Hwy 208) and Hwy 84 at the Hess Station. You can meet up with us on southbound 87 past the toll at exit 16, or at the rest stop near Sloatsburg. Let me know though, so we'll have a heads up to look for you. Figure 25 minutes after KSU at the staging area.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you are planning on meeting us on the way, you will need to let me know by email or phone, otherwise we won’t plan on looking for you or stopping!!

Just to re-state the final plans:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

I *JUST* got a call from the funeral director - they will be using a motorcycle hearse for this funeral.

I spoke yesterday with the head of the Suffolk County PD motorcycle unit. They already have a number of escorts to do at this time, but he will see if he can pull some people from elsewhere, so we MAY have a police motorcycle escort the entire way, from the church, past the deceased's home, to the cemetery.
