Sgt. Michael E. Seeley A great man once said, "Poor is the Nation that has no Heroes, Shameful is the one that, having them, Forgets". You and your family are our heroes! We will never forget the duty, service, honor, faithfulness and sacrifice you have given to our nation. You are now in the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on. We will not falter, We will not fail, We will not weaken.
To the family of Sgt. Michael E. Seeley I pray that our heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. (Lincoln to Mrs. Bixby 21 Nov 1864). We will continually be praying for your family at our church. May God strengthen you.
