Welcome Home Ride for Corporal Vincente Padilla on Monday, November 6th arriving at 9:00 a.m. at the Modesto Ca. Airport. 
 
Cpl Padilla, who is assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, is returning from a tour in Iraq, after previously serving a tour in Afghanistan. 
 
Patriot Guard Riders that can make it should meet at the Modesto airport at 8:30 a.m. where we will form a flag line for the returning hero.  Cpl. Padilla will be met by his family and friends at the airport, after which we will escort Cpl Padilla and his family to his home  in Modesto approximately 6 miles from the airport.
 
The Modesto airport is located on Mitchell Road approximately 3.6 miles from Highway 99.
 
The Ride Captain for this Welcome Home Ride will be TGray.  Cell:  209-918-9225

Cpl Padilla was welcomed home by about 25 people at the Modesto Airport, including eastbay123 (Rich), Scooter and TGray.  We had the honor of escorting him and his family to his home where he was honored by a gathering of family and friends.  Thank you for being there for this Marine.  Cpl. Padilla now has a fond memory in knowing that there are people who care about him and his comrades.
