Bells Elementary School Veteran’s Day Program

This is a Special Mission to Bells Elementary School in Bells, Texas.  The Bells Elementary School is hosting their annual Veteran’s Day tribute to area Veterans on Friday, November 10th, 2006.  I need 25 – 30 bikes to ride with me to Bells for this event.

Ride Captain:  John (Top) Kammerer – Cell Phone # 972-877-3640

Staging Information:  We will stage at 8 AM.  We will depart for the school at 8:20 AM to arrive at the school at 8:30 AM. I will communicate the staging location at a later date.

Event Logistics and Timeline:  We will park our bikes lining both sides of the sidewalk leading to the gymnasium.  We should park the bikes, evenly spaced, which will act as our Honor Corridor for the arriving Veterans.  From arrival until 9 AM, we will stand by our bikes to welcome the Veterans and answer questions.  At 8:55 AM, we will move into the gymnasium for the program.  I have been requested to brief the assembly about the Patriot Guard Riders and my military experience.

Post Event Activities:  After the assembly, the students will go outside to watch us leave.  I am trying to plan a “parade” departure for the students.

Please respond, on this thread, if you are able to support this very special request.

ASSISTANT TEXAS STATE CAPTAIN

Howdy,

Here is a little background information on this mission. My first mission as a Ride Captain was to honor SGT James Muldoon.
He attended school there and his Wife and family were living there. One of the teachers at Bells Elementary contacted me to thank ya'll and invited us to this event.

I hope that we can get a nice turnout, the program will be very special and is going to be one of our rare "happy" times. I am looking forward to that, in light of how busy we have been of late.

I hope to see you on Nov 10th, will communicate staging location early next week.

Ride safe,

Thanks Mike,

The teacher I have been working with is thrilled that we are attending, and the kids are very excited about seeing our bikes.

I will try to have some of the tri-fold brochures to hand out.

Ride safe,
