Via email from Robert Diaz:

On behalf of Jason Franco and his family I would like to thank all of the Patriot Riders for their beautifull words of honor in behlaf of Jason, for the words of support they have given to our family. We would especially like to thank everyone who is participating and will ride in honor of Jason Franco. GOD BLESS YOU AND RIDE SAFE!

==============================

When a mans heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the same men who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence and a mission of justice. - Steve "Sting" Borden

God has recalled another one of his faithful warriors to guard the gates of heaven.  Thank you for protecting my freedom.  The heart of a greatful nation goes out to those that you have left behind while you enter her halls of Patriots and Heros.  We remain forever in your debt for your sacrifice and you will never be forgotten.  Now rest in the Fathers arms.  Well done Marine, stand down, we've got the watch.

With all respect

jason franco did not volunteer to go to iraq like some news articles say, he didnt die a heros death, jason died at a bus stop on the most secure base in iraq at about 0450 on oct 31 he was shot in the head by one round out of his m16, he was all over the place, jason had spent the night talking to somebody from back home, he was only in iraq for less than a month...i had to pick jason up, i want to know why he did it,
the reason he was forced to go was because he was a casualty replacement, the guy who's spot he took didnt take care of his small pox vaccine correctly, it started to spread cuz he didnt leave the bandaid on, so they had to find somebody to replace him fast, and look theres jason a fresh new guy right out of school, they sent him to iraq the next week with a bunch of people he never met before, never trained with before, no friends,
the unit he was in faired marines to and from combat, often they would carry in casualties, the birds would stink, they were soaked in blood, and here we have a marine who was not prepared for this at all
i met him once before he died that i know of, just a few days prior, and im sure i saw him in passing many times, but i will never forget the last time i saw him as long as i live i think, its almost been 2 years and still i see him on the bench
jason was an american who shouldnt have died in iraq
