UPDATE.....UPDATE.....UPDATE

We will be collecting toll money at the Topsham stop for the following tolls.

Portland $.60
York Toll $1.75

Total = $2.35
One cage rider will lead and pay tolls as we follow.

Those of you meeting at Civic Center will need an additional $.60, but you will hold onto that and pay the toll individually as we head to Topsham.  Details will be shared with you folks in the morning.

Our return trip tolls strategy will be discussed and coordinated before we depart for our return trip back.  Stand by tomorrow for details.

Also, please note time adjustments:

STAGING @ CIVIC CENTER AUGUSTA @ 9:30AM
KICKSTANDS UP @ 9:45AM
ARRIVE TOPSHAM MALL @ APPROX. 10:30AM
DEPART TOPSHAM MALL @ APPROX. 10:45AM
ARRIVE KENNEBUNK REST STOP ON I-95 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:00
DEPART KENNEBUNK REST STOP @ APPROX. 12:15
ARRIVE PORTSMOUTH @ APPROX. 12:45PM

We've sort of bumped our schedule up by 15 minutes just in case we need those extra 15 minutes in Portsmouth.   All times are of course estimates and based upon a "best-case" scenario, but we should arrive in plenty of time to surprise Tim.

YIKES!!!! SWAYBAR, are we going to make it? We're meeting at 10:00 am at the Prison Showroom; that doesn't leave us enough time to get to Topsham. Please call me in the morning before you head onto the ice.

Mike, understood.  Hope you can make it.  We'll be travelling between 55 and 60 mph, so you stand a good chance of catching up to us if not in Topsham, then Kennebunk.  You've got my cell phone number....I think.  I'll be checking it in Topsham and again in Kennebunk.  In any event, play safe and ride safe buddy.

I was awed and totally amazed by the support and welcome home that the town gave Tim, as we passed through. Lo and I both are thankful to have been part of this day. We both throughly loved seeing the proud flags on the bikes, and following them.
Y'all have a nice evening, and again, we're honored to have been part of y'all today!

Thanks to all of you who participated today, and especially those who pulled it all together, Sam, Christine,John, two LEO jurisdictions and the Fire Department, and any others I may have missed.

I too was pleased to see all the neighbors and townfolks on the street with signs and flags. I'm sure Tim and his family were also surprised to have an instant crowd of supporters decend on their home, welcoming him back.

Good on you Tim...you certainly earned it.

They seemed ready for us however judging by the huge supply of hot food and coffee they had ready for the riders and others who were there to greet Tim.

Thanks to the family for being such great hosts, and for allowing us to participate in this joyful homecoming.

Welcome back Tim...."We're so glad we're livin' in the USA!"

Thank you for your service to your country and the cause of freedom.

Thank you everyone for your support today. It was a breath taking site to see all the members that came out to support Tim and his family.

Tim and family, thank you for opening up your home to us and allowing us to be a part of the Homecoming. It was a pleasure to get to meet everyone and I hope to see you all again soon.

Trina, thank you for the coffee this morning at staging in Topsham, it sure it the spot. It would of been nice to see you but heard you had to work. Next time.

Asha, thank you for your support in Kennebunk with hot coffee and watching our 6 all the way down. It would not of been a good site if that 18 wheeler had lost it. I'm glad you were watching out for us. You take care..

To all our LEO, you are the best. The escort went great and we look forward to working with you again.

Everyone have a great night and see you all soon.

What can I say, today was absolutely EXHILIARATING!!! Though we started out cold and I ended up riding solo the last hour in the freezing cold and dark back home, I wouldn't have traded it for the world. Seeing the look on Tim's face as we pulled all of our bikes in there was priceless. Yes, THANK YOU to Tim's family for their wonderful hospitality. I was bragging to my poor husband, who had to break off of the mission because CG duty called, about the pulled pork. Simply outstanding. Christine, Don, Mike, John, anyone else leading the mission, job well done! Asha, it was so GOOD to see you girl!! Please take care! Can't wait for you to 'get back in the saddle again!' And most of all....TIM, THANK YOU for your service!! We are all proud of you and your committment to this fine country of ours!! Enjoy the rest of your time off.

Thank you all for joining us in making yesterday a great day! What an honor and proviledge it is to be able to participate in such a worthwhile event with you all.

Tim, welcome home brother. Thanks for a job well done and thanks for allowing us the opportunity to welcome you home and ride with you the last few miles. It certainly was your day, but I think it made all of us feel a little humbled to see the town folk waving and holding flags as we rolled by. Always brings a lump to my throat seeing stuff like that.

John and Sam, job well done guys. Everything went as smooth as silk. The staging areas were easy to find and easy to get in and out of. Well, we won't mention the Topsham incident. Although the finger tips got a little cold, the ride was super. Nice pace, good stops and great friends to share the ride with. Once again, well done.

One observation..........anyone else notice how cold it seemed to get after the sun went down? Wow! Was I ever glad to finally get home. Brrrrr! Nice ride anyway. I'd do it again tomorrow. LOL
