**** EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE -- CONFIRMED MISSION ****

The family has given the PGR permission to attend the viewing and funeral services for Sgt. 1st Class Tony L. Knier, 31, of Sabinsville, Pa.

VIEWING:

     Location
         Carleton Funeral Home
         11470 Route 6,
         Wellsboro, Pa.

     Date and Time:
            Tuesday, October 31, 2006
               10:00 AM to 1:00 PM



FUNERAL

         Location:
            Wellsboro Firemen's Annex
            East Avenue (Route 6)
            Wellsboro, Pa.

         Date and Time:
            Tuesday, October 31, 2006
                3:00 PM

BILL CHRISTIAN of Wellsboro will be the ACTING RIDE CAPTAIN for this mission.

Staging for the viewing:
Will be in the Wellsboro Plaza parking lot, next to Carleton's Funeral Home on Rt 6 just East of Wellsboro.

 
Please assist and support him on this mission.

October 27, 2006

DoD Identifies Army Casualty

Sgt. 1st Class Tony L. Knier, 31, of Sabinsville, Pa., died Oct. 21 in Bayji, Iraq, from injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Knier was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
