We have received an invitation from the family of Spc. Nicholas K. Rogers to stand in honor of and attend services for him.
 
This mission is now confirmed for Thursday November 2, 2006.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

     Spc. Nicholas K. Rogers, 27, of Deltona, Fla., died Oct. 22 in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries suffered when his patrol came in contact with enemy forces during combat operations. Rogers was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Spc Rogers. He leaves behind his wife, who is 6 months pregnant, and a 3 year old daughter. May both of his children grow up knowing their father's love for them, and always remember he was an hero who gave his life for their freedom, and ours.

     Wish I was already in FL, my adopted state, to attend this PGR mission. Will be arriving in late November for the winter and will be standing by, and ready if necessary, in Lake Worth through May.
