Rest in peace Sgt. Mock. Your sacrifice will never be
forgotten. If it were not for the heroes like you, this country
would not be the great nation that it is. God bless you.

I just found out that I work with a cousin of Sgt. Mock.

While there is nothing that I can say that will ease the pain that Sgt. Mocks family is going through right now, I can only hope that what those of you are going to do for them at the service will help to lessin the shock caused by others.

Topeka area riders, I am planning on going down for this mission. e-mail me or call me if you would like to ride down as a group. I think 0700 departure would give us plenty of time to stop on the turnpike a couple of times to warm up

To the family of Sgt Mock.
What words could possibly help during a time like this?
When we know not what we should pray for as we ought, the Spirit maketh intercessions for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26
So let not your heart be troubled, for your loved one has gone to the place which Jesus has prepared.
Stand down soldier, your mission here is complete.

==============================

When a mans heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the same men who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence and a mission of justice. - Steve "Sting" Borden

Regretably, I will not be able to attend the services for this American Hero but I am in awe of the support from the community! The amount of donated lodging, fuel and food is truly amazing. We (PGR) are fortunate to be in the company of such fine Americans and their support speaks volumes about respect for Sgt. Mock and our military. I know there will be a tremendous turnout for this mission and I'm sure the good Lord will provide His comfort for all in attendance. Godspeed.

Mission Complete.....Our hero is laid to rest.

Another community steps up to the plate...free lodging, free dinner, free breakfast, free lunch, free gasoline, free coffee (my favorite).  Lots of "thank you's", handshakes, love and patriotism.  Darkhorse & Ebay--well done brothers.

Once again we say goodbye to a Kansas Hero. Sgt Willsun"Will" Mock, you have given the ultimate sacrifice. Our freedoms are that important. For that I thank you. The family, friends, soldiers that walked our line shaking hands, it is our "Honor"and "Privilege" to be there for one who gave so much.
To your family and friends, thank you, for letting the Patriot Guard share in your special day. "Your loss - Is our loss". I know there are those who would say that after that day is over we go on our way. They're wrong of course, those of us that were there, "We Won't Forget". For myself, I'm keeping a scrapbook.

To the communities of Harper and Welligton, you guys certainly have your priorities straight. To open up to the Patriot Guard, and provide everything we could need, is just heart touching. The Harper Motel,(Matt Brannon, and his crew), thank you for doing that. I hope some were able to take advantage of the rooms. Myself, I stayed with friends in Winfield, and drove out the next day. Thank you Bev & Gordon Smith. Then there is the COOP Station,(Ray Hendricks, Kevin Warner, and the rest of your employees), gave away up to 500 gallons of gas. I too was able to take advantage of that. A Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The V.F.W., Post 11449, in Harper. Somebody over there is a good cook, and to feed my comrades on bikes, and in cages, took some work I'm sure. Many thanks.

I thanked as many of the LEO as I could. If it weren't for these fine men and women, I'm sure it would be a nightmare, to get that many vehicles down the highway. I did notice as I was near tailgun position most of the time, that we had some people cut the line as we were leaving Wellington. After a few miles they realized they were in the procession, and pulled over. My thanks to them for that.

It was good to see so many familiar faces. Doc, Big Jimbo, Kai, Darkhorse, Mrs. Darkhorse, Ebay, Bronco6, Fatz, Troll, J.D., and the many new ones. I know I can't name everyone, and thats OK, we all know you were there. Thanks to you all for being there. You are what makes this organization great. Maybe one day this will end, but lets don't end the friendships. I've met so many fine people ,and I wouldn't trade you for the world.

I have pictures when I can get them loaded. I have some 35mm in being developed, and will load those as I can. The VFW Post has ask for some copies and I will send those when I can. Their address is Harper VFW 11449, 109 E. Main, Harper, Ks. 67058. If you can send them hard copies they would appreciate it. If anyone has a video link, or aerial shots, I would like to see those too.

Till next time my friends. Ride safe, and be defensive.
With Respect,
Rick"Stretch"Wegner

I was looking for video on the homecoming of the 414th MP's in Joplin, Mo. I came across this video of Sgt. Willsun Mock. You will have to copy and paste it to your browser. Give it a couple of minutes and it should be there. Pretty neat.

Didn't realize I forgot to put the link to my pictures of the mission on here. Sorry.
