My family and I are so very honored to be counted as one of the Gold Star families to be included in on this tribute. Words cannot explain how grateful we are to the PGR and all the organization has done to honor our son Matthew since his death on 8-29-06. Lee Greenwood was one of his favorites. He also happens to be one of the Artist that my younger children "do know" that doesn't sing hard rock. Thank you to all of you, I will never be able to re-pay all that you have done for Matthew and us.

We'll be there. Mr. Greenwood is one of the most patriotic people
in the entertainment industry and supports the troops more than most
others do. Also, a part of the proceeds go to the Freedom Alliance.
This is one of the most worthwhile charities that I know of.

I know that most PGR members know what the Freedom Alliance
is, but for those who may not, it is a charity started by Oliver North
that provides college tuition for children of service members who
have been killed or disabled. Ollie and a few others finance this
organization out of thier own pockets so 100% of the money
contributed goes to the cause. It doesn't get much better than
that.

This will be great.
