It was my honor to ride, and to stand for Sgt. Daniel Winegeart at his funeral today. I was privledged to be able to ride in the escort when he was brought home also. I cannot express the emotion that overwhelmed me, seeing all of the folks lining the highways, showing their spirit and their respect for one of our country's finest. Today again, even though it was pouring, I saw friends, family, and strangers come together to honor Daniel. My condolences and gratitude to the Winegeart Family, may God Bless.

I am involved with the greatest group of Patriots. The rain came hard and never let up. The water rose quickly and we were advised by the LEO not to try to make way to the cemetery. Thanks to TX Rider who shadowed the hearse. Getting home was difficult for most of us.
To my surprise there were 22 bikes and 27 PGR members. Amazing!! Thanks to each of you for attending.
At the service 2 of Sgt Winegeart's fellow comrades spoke of his laughter, his pranks and how he loved the mud. Well Sgt. Winegeart you definitely loved your send off. As one of the speakers said........WINE, LETS GO MUDDIN'!!
To the Winegeart family, PGR appreciates you allowing us to escort Daniel home. This mission definitely touched so many and Daniel will not be forgotten. His service was greatly appreciated by many as that was evident by how many showed their sorrow and support both Tuesday and Thursday.
Again thanks to all for going the extra mile for this mission.
