SPC Winegeart,

Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your untimely death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. You are truly an American hero and the world in which we live is a safer place because of your commitment to freedom. We will now proudly stand for you with honor, dignity, and respect. We pray that you will now rest peacefully in the arms of God. May He provide peace, comfort, and understanding to each life you touched.

I visited with the Funeral Director yesterday.  There is no confirmation on when Spc Winegeart's body will arrive in Houston.  Once that is known I will be able to post funeral date.  The service time is definitely at 11:00 am.

The staging area will be at Wal-Mart in Lumberton at 9:00 am.  Kick stands will go up at 9:20 am.
Here are the directions to Wal-Mart:
Coming from Houston.......
IH 10 East once in Beaumont stay to your right 2 lanes and take Hwy 69/96/287 (aka Eastex Freeway) towards Lufkin.
Stay on Hwy 69/96/287 through Beaumont.  You will cross over Pine Island Bayou.  Once you pass Keith Rd exit, start moving into your left lane.
Take Hwy 69 towards Kountze.
You will cross through the intersection Hwy 421 and Hwy 69.  (Landmark Exxon Station on the corner)
Continue on Hwy 69 and Wal-Mart will be on your RIGHT across from Lumberton High School.

Coming from the North down Hwy 96
Once in Lumberton come to Hwy 421 and turn RIGHT.  (Landmark Morris Moore Used Car)
Take Hwy 421 to Hwy 69 and turn RIGHT.
Continue on Hwy 69 and Wal-Mart will be on your RIGHT across from Lumberton High School.

Again as soon as I know the day of the service I will post it.

Thanks,
Sandra

To the Family of Spc. Daniel Winegeart which includes one of the best people on this earth Eva Mae (Daniels Aunt),

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
II Corinthians 1 :3 - 5

Thank you, Spc. Daniel Wiengeart for your service to this Nation. To the family of this American Hero: We grieve with you in the loss of one of our Nation’s best. His adherence to “Duty to God and Country” will not be forgotten. Death is a time to rejoice in the life someone had and the lives they touched on this earth. Life is but a blink of an eye. May the Great Architect take this Hero and his family into his council, protect and heal them.

I may not make this mission on my scooter as I live in Madisonville and it is at home. But I work here in Beaumont and I will be on this mission.

You don't have to love war, but you do have to love the Warrior!

The sound of 200 people holding flags -- is deafening.
