My heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of PFC Bicknell.  Please rest assured that he gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep far from our shores those who would do us harm.  It is from sacrefices by Warriors like PFC Bicknell that our freedom and liberty come.

To the citizens of Prattville, AL.  We share your grief - and we will be there to support you. You have endured the loss of two of your finest sons.  First SSG Pernell, and now PFC Bicknell. You will once again stand tall and be rock steady in your resolve to pay tribute as you did before.

I will be honored ride in tribute to PFC Bicknell on 27 Oct 06 (pending approval of leave).

Until five years ago, a resident of Andalusia, and Gantt, it grieves me that we have lost another fine young man from Alabama. Steve, my daughter, Carolyn Cater, may have known you as she had attended high school in Prattville, for a semester. Rest easy young man. Your watch is over. Others will muster and continue the watch. No more pain or suffering will be felt by you. Miranda, you have lost your husand and the times will be extremely difficult for you; yet in February, you two will be blessed with the birth of your child. May God Bless you both. To the family and friends steve, I offer my humble condolences. Stephen, gave his all.

My prayers to the family and the community of Prattville as well as the surrounding communities. This loss has touched so many. To the PGR members riding Thursday and Friday... lets all be safe. And put on you "soldier skin" cause this is gonna be a tough one. Not that any mission is easy, but the community has really felt this loss.

Please, someone ride pegs down for me... PFC Bicknell, I'll be there for you in spirit.

When one bleeds, we all bleed, When one is taken from us, we all feel the empty void.
In the deepest part of every true patriots heart, is a pure positive energy that so truly desires to let your family know that your loss is also our loss. I know this is not always something that can be explained by a few simple written words no matter how hard I try to use my words to embrace you in this time of your family heart ache.
With Our Deepest Regret, And Our Highest Respectable Humble Regard, We openly shed more than just tears with you. Our heart aches knowing your feeling an aching void. Our heart ache is truly in honor felt for your loved one. It will be an honor and privilege for the Trophy Club Texas Bikers to stand tall, proud, respectful, silent and mourn in silence even at a distance from the state of Texas and continue to show our support to a heart broken family, state and nation.

I am a citizen of Pratville, Alabama.  We are a proud city who hold Pfc. Bicknell and his family in highest regards.

We not only greatly appreciate the support of Freedom Riders but would be honored to join you in your efforts. My question is, is there any way non-bikers like myself ( I have been a passenger once if that counts!) could join in and stand with you? While, rest assured, this community will turn out in droves to show our respect for Pfc. Bicknell and his grieving family, many of us would also like to speak out against this insane group and others like them.

Please let me know and I will pass the information along to others.

Our many prayers are with the Bicknell's at such a tragic time.

Thank you much and God bless you all.

Angie, welcome.  We're extremely sorry for your community's loss.

Anyone that is unwelcomed is not even a consideration any longer.  We do what we do to honor our heroes.  Anything else we need to do to ensure the honor is appropriate is handled without any acknowledgement.  We try not to give anyone any notice here on the forums that doesn't deserve it.

And of course you can join us.  A motorcycle is certainly not a requirement.  You are more than welcome to be at the staging area at the times listed and help.

Thank you.

Chappy

Thank you so much Chappy.  I'll be there! If you can give me some idea of about how many you'll be expecting,  I'll see what I can do about icing down some water for the group.

God Bless America and her fallen heroes!

Angie, I'm afraid there isn't a real easy way other than to look through this mission thread to get an idea of the numbers coming.

We have thrown around some ideas for a way to electronically "raise your hand" to say you will be there, but as of yet, we have not implemented such a feature.  It would be nice for the captains to know, but right now it's a guess.

If the RC for this mission has an idea, I'm sure they will speak up.

Thank you.

Chappy
