| An American Hero and Patriot: Stephen Bicknell. A star football player in high school, who was awarded a scholarship to the University of West Alabama, he chose to serve his country instead, enlisting in the Army and becoming a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division. We mourn the loss of this young man, for his full potential will never be known; but we take solace in the fact that he was doing what he wanted, on his terms, and that like those great Heroes and Patriots before him, made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of his nation and family. Rest in Peace, soldier; your duty is done. I will be proud to ride in your honor, and stand to salute you. |

| My heartfelt condolences to this fine young hero and to his family. This is so tragic that this fine community, of which I was raised and attended High School has to suffer through this once again. This small community will once again show how proud they are of their young men and women as they always do, and comfort each citizen and family member. PFC Bicknell I salute you, your family and your community and I wish all god speed. Heaven is much brighter now, as another great American hero joins her ranks. Sir, you will be missed by all. |

PFC Stephen Bicknell - Thank you for your service to our great country. Go with God now young soldier, your mission here is done. Rest In Peace my young brother.
To the Family and friends - I pray that God will wrap you all in his arms and give you comfort during this difficult time. Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss, but Stephen is in a better place now where there is no fighting or hatred. It is not that he lived from 1993 to 2006, but how he lived the dash in the middle. I think he lived it very well.
It will be an honor to ride for Stephen. |

This Soldier was in the unit i just retired out of. I had met this Soldier only once but can remember he was a fine Soldier. I know right now that the unit is taking this very hard as i just talked to them over there yesterday.
I am going to try and make this one myself, might need a place to camp out the night before if anyone has the room for a tent and bike. |
