****************CONFIRMED MISSION *********************
This has just become a Confirmed Mission. Mrs Paulsen has given her permission for us to honor her husband. This mission has 2 parts.
FIRST PART OF THE MISSION IS TO WELCOME SSGT RON PAULSEN HOME ON THE 25TH OF OCTOBER AT 1944 HRS.
WE WILL GATHER AT THE HOME DEPOT ON NE GLEN WIDING WAY IN PORTLAND, OR. AT 1845 HRS AND THEN PROCEED TO UNITED WHERE WE WILL MEET THE FAMILY AND THE COACH.
COOPER, WASHINGTON STATE ROAD CAPTAIN WILL ASSIGN A RIDE CAPT. FOR THIS MISSION. AT THIS TIME I'M NOT SURE WHERE WE WILL BE ESCORTING SSGT PAULSEN TO. MORE INFORMATION WILL FOLLOW.

Ronald Paulsen, US Army, gave his life in the service of his country last week in Iraq. He was a resident of Vancouver, WA, who was called back to service after 13 years in the Inactive Reserve.

DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was
supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Ronald L. Paulsen, 53, of Vancouver, Wash., died on Oct. 17 in
Tarmiya, Iraq, from injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device
detonated near his vehicle. Paulsen was assigned to the Army Reserve's 414th
Civil Affairs Battalion, Utica, N.Y.

My husband went back in after being out for 13 yrs. also & at 40 is questioning wether he can make it to retirement, so to be called back at 53...........what an American hero! We are very proud of Ronald and his service to this country. May he rest in peace and may God wrap his family in His loving arms during this most difficult time.
