Here is the latest on the return of the 3BCT. All events will be at the Special Events center on Ft. Carson.
I will update with times as soon as I get them. Be aware that we might only have 4 hrs notice on the times. I will also adjust the dates if that is necessary.
22 OCT 3pm
25 OCT
28 OCT
29 OCT
31 OCT
Everyone without a post decal will have to follow standard procedures for visitors to access the post. The Special Events center is well marked with signs from gate # 1. Lets show these soldiers that we are grateful for their service and glad that they are now home with their loved ones.

I've never been on post except for the last memorial we all went to. Don't know what the "standard procedures for getting on post" are when we all may not be in a group. Anyone who is "in the know", would you please let me know what I need to do to get on post if I'm by myself, of what we need to do if we come as PGR. Have never been to a welcome home and am not familiar with SOP.

| Not sure if Jo and I can make this Sunday. If the 3PM. time stays, we might be able to work it in but if it's any earlier, it's pretty doubtfull, RATS! We will do our best to make some of the other dates, glad to see their coming home, "WELCOME BACK"!

Anybody going down there from Denver on Wednesday the 25th (tentatively 1200), please let me know. I'm planning on cageing it and have room for 4 more people. Let me know via a PM or call me at 303-654-0798. I'll be heading back to Brighton as soon as it's over. I would normally be taking the "flying couch", but don't know what the weather is like. So I thought I'd take the gas guzzler instead.

Bram and Dave, You may even be able to send a couple through the gate at a time while waiting for the busses to roll in and they can get a temporary pass and go back out and park. Then after the busses roll in, just go through the gate and show the temp pass and ID. Last year we did the homecomings a little different, but there is a new head shed this tiime around. Not sure how they are handling it.
