Updated Mission info:
* I forgot to mention in my last post that this mission is this coming Saturday, 11-4. Sorry about that !!
* We have staging area permission from the manager of the UniMart on Rte. 150 in Beech Creek.
* If anyone has been trying to get a precise location for the UniMart, you probably have not succeeded ... no one else has, anyway! Don't worry, though, Beech Creek is small, Rte. 150 is the main drag through town, and there's only one UniMart. I've been assured that we can't miss it.
* Zip code for Beech Creek, PA is 16822 (for internet map purposes)
* To any of you "cagers" who've hesitated to join a motorcycle gathering in a car (and I know some folks feel that way) ... most of us will be cagin' this one, I think. I surely will since I don't ride in the dark when it's 25 degrees through areas that are known for ice, fog, and unexpected snow squalls! If you haven't felt welcome in the past, I apologize for that ... but you needn't feel that way any more.
Ride on! Cagin' Joe

STAGING TIMES & MISSION INFO:
Greetings fellow Patriot Guard Riders from the woods of Indiana County. Just got done speaking with the funeral director. Following is important mission information:
* We will stage at the UniMart in Beech Creek beginning at 10:00 this coming Saturday 11-4-06. On main drag, Rte. 150, only one UniMart in Beech Creek. Big parking lot.
* Mission Briefing will be held at 10:15.
* Set out at 10:30 on the 3-mile ride to the Hayes-Fearon Cemetery in Beech Creek.
* Parking will be along the road at this rural cemetery. We should be able to park right on the road, but please bring kick-stand plates just in case. We will leave choice parking places for family, military honor guard, and other mourners.
* Funeral Director assured me that staging at UniMart is OK, but I was unable to get a phone number for the store. If anyone lives near there & could contact store manager for confirmation, please email me (we don't want 7 or 8 people doing that). I'd like to have permission confirmed.
* This will be a graveside commital service.
I also spoke with Mr. Young's son-in-law (a PGR member along with his wife, Mr. Young's daughter). They are glad that we can honor their invitation and will be joining them to pay respects to their father. Looking forward to joining with you to honor this Marine's service and memory & support our fellow PGR during their mourning.
Ride on! Joe

When one is taken from us, we all feel the empty void. In the deepest part of every true patriots heart, is a pure positive energy that so truly desires to let your family know that your loss is also our loss. I know this is not always something that can be explained by a few simple written words no matter how hard I try to use my words to embrace you in this time of your family heart ache. With Our Deepest Regret, And Our Highest Respectable Humble Regard, We openly shed more than just tears with you. Our heart aches knowing your feeling an aching void. Our heart ache is truly in honor felt for your loved one. It will be an honor and privilege for the Trophy Club Texas Bikers to stand tall, proud, respectful, silent and mourn in silence even at a distance from the state of Texas and continue to show our support to a heart broken family, state and nation.

To the family of Roy Young. What words could possibly help during a time like this… When we know not what we should pray for as we ought, the Spirit maketh intercessions for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26 So let not your heart be troubled, for your loved one has gone to the place which Jesus has prepared. Stand down soldier, your mission here is complete.

When a mans heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the same men who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence and a mission of justice. - Steve "Sting" Borden |
